7 Tips for Preparing Middle Eastern Breads

Making homemade bread is one of the most exciting cooking experiences there is.

If you love cooking, you can upgrade your home cooking by learning how to prepare top quality Middle Eastern breads. Although you can buy commercial Middle Eastern breads, the quality and taste will never come close to your own homemade bread. Imagine the smell of warm Pita Bread with zaatar filling your house! I can promise you that when your family and friends discover your secret, the breads you bake are guaranteed not to last longer than a few hours.

One of the greatest advantages of Middle Eastern breads is that they are usually soft. This means that you can take Pita Bread and dip it in olive oil, hummus and tahini - no need for a knife! There are also many regular shaped Middle Eastern breads that you can also learn how to bake.

Anyone who ever made homemade bread knows that bread recipes demand time and energy. However, the quality, taste and pleasure you get when you make your own bread at home are well worth the effort.

Following these simple tips will ensure that you are on right track towards successful Middle Eastern baking:

7 Tips for Successful Middle Eastern Bread Preparation

1. Never add salt or oil while preparing yeast, they will hinder the fermentation process.

2. Heat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit one hour prior to putting the bread in it.

3. Add olive oil to the dough in order to keep it moist and to prevent if from drying out.

4. Be especially careful not to press the dough when putting it in the oven.

5. If you want softer bread, put a heatproof dish with some water in the oven.

6. Use a wet cotton or towel for covering the dough.

7. An average room temperature of 74 degrees is ideal for dough rising.

How do you overcome obsession to a book(s) (The hunger games trilogy) And what makes an obsession?
PART 1I just finished reading The Hunger Games trilogy and just saw the movie and I think I am obsessed. I get emotionally attached to the characters and struggle to process that it is not real and (science) fiction. I am wondering how to overcome this. Also I cannot stop thinking about any part of the series. Whether it be the books, the movie, characters, future movies, etc. So I want/need to know how to get over it. I understand a bit of obsession is not terrible based on what other people are like (for instance dressing up like characters for Halloween or spelling pita bread Peeta bread lol) PART 2 Also since I am unsure if I am upset it would be helpful to finish this sentence for me (both funny and serious are okay answers) You know you are obsessed with The Hunger Games trilogy when ___________________________________________________. This would help me understand if I am truly obsessed. If you answer this question I would prefer you answer to Part 1 as a priority, but both parts are encouraged. So please write quick answers because I don't know what to do. Upset should be obsessed

why i think katniss should have ended up with gale?
first off, peeta's basically a male version of bella swan. too unrealistically perfect, yet utterly useless.(seriously, who falls in love when they're 5?) also, when peeta and katniss got married, he pressured her into having kids she didn't want to have... does that sound like a happy marriage? if you put a dandilion in a fire, it will burn to ashes... guess you wern't thinking it out, collins!you know who gale and katniss remind me of? han solo and princess leia. she and gale could have helped restore the original panem, like han and leia did with the republic. choosing peeta meant choosing a life of doing nothing to help, and leaving the door open for another president snow to step in. also with gale, the sex would be better, because with mr. pita bread painting and frosting cakes, he can't have much in the way of parts. ;) also, i hate how peeta fans bring up prim's death. it's not like gale woke up and said "i am going to kill prim". it was an accident. also, he SAVED her many times. fed her family while she was at the games, hunted with her to help... sure ignore the times he saved her, and focus on the one mistake he made, that, unfortuantly, led to her death. @sugar cookies: remember when katniss was going to be taken to the games, and gale said "katniss, remember i- but was interrupted by the peacemaker. what do you think he was going to say?

Why do I feel full but I haven't even had my daily calorie intake?
This week I started a healthy lifestyle by cutting out ALL junk food (no fast food/food that comes in wrappers etc. Plus cut out chocolate for a year). Been jogging this week. I jogged this morning. However, today I've only had oatmeal (with dry cranberries), 3 hard boiled egg whites, an apple, and then one slice of vegan pizza from Whole Foods. Iv also had lots of water. Kind of forcing myself to eat dinner. Having peas, chicken breast with peppers and mushrooms, little bit of spicy beans, whole wheat rice, and a pita bread. I don't understand why really... Because I don't usually remain full with those types of foods but it doesn't feel right eating without being that hungry.
